Accountant

Responsibilities:
• Checks mathematical accuracy and accounting entries.
• Prepares checks on time.
• In-charge of checking the liquidation reports.
• Prepares summary of liquidations, accountability and journal vouchers monthly.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly remittances to the BIR.
• Prepares billing invoices on time.
• Prepares weekly aging of Accounts Receivables.
• Does follow-up on collection from the clients.
• Prepares summary of sales and cash receipts necessary for the closing of books.
• Prepares bank reconciliation.
• Prepares journal vouchers for adjustments.
• Prepares financial statements and supporting subsidiary ledgers.
• Prepares daily cash position report.
• Regularly updates the ledger of Fixed Asset. Checks annual inventory count with the ledger to determine discrepancies.
• Handles maintenance of fixed asset file of the Company and related depreciation schedule. Initiates and supervises year-end and physical inventory taking of the Company’s fixed assets, materials and supplies.
• Reconciles the subsidiary ledger balance against the general ledger control account.

Requirements
• Certified Public Accountant, newly-passed CPAs are also welcomed
• With above average communications skills.
• With at least 2 to 3 years work experience in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
